Hi! It nice to meet you my name is Autumn! My journey into dog grooming wasn’t something I originally planned—in fact, I had set my sights on becoming a chef. But life has a way of guiding us toward where we’re meant to be, and through family, I found an opportunity that changed everything. I first entered the pet-care world as a dog bather at a different company, where I learned the basics of working with dogs in a salon environment. That early experience opened my eyes to how much I enjoyed caring for animals, and it set the foundation for what would come next. Eventually, I discovered Jen’s shop, Heavenly Dog. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was different. Jen not only runs a great business—she truly cares for every dog that comes through the door. Within six months of joining her team, she offered me the chance to become a dog groomer. That opportunity meant the world to me, and since then, she has taught me everything I know about grooming, technique, confidence, and compassion. I’ve now spent almost two years working with dogs in a salon setting, and six of those months have been as a groomer. Every day, I continue to build my skills and learn from both Jen and the dogs themselves. My goal is simple: to do right by you and your K-9 companion. I love working at Heavenly Dog because it’s a place where the pets’ needs always come first, and the importance of treating every dog with patience, understanding, and respect. Becoming a dog groomer wasn’t my original plan—but it has become my passion, and I’m grateful every day for the path that led me here
